Canada Issues 3,500 Invitations in New Healthcare and Social Services Express Entry Draw

CRS Cutoff Drops to 462 in Healthcare and Social Services Category Based Draw

Canada has conducted a new Express Entry draw under the Healthcare and Social Services (Version 2) category, issuing 3,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score cutoff of 462. This is the largest healthcare focused draw since July 2025 and one of the lowest CRS thresholds of the year in this category based selection stream.

According to IRCC, the tie breaking rule for this round was set to December 2, 2024, at 22:19:41 UTC. Candidates with a CRS score of 462 or higher who submitted their Express Entry profile before this timestamp received an invitation in this draw.

Recent Healthcare and Social Services Express Entry Draws in 2025

Healthcare and Social Services category based draws in 2025 have shown varying CRS cutoffs and invitation numbers. Previous rounds ranged from 500 to 4,000 invitations and CRS scores from the low 470s into the 500s.

The November 14, 2025 draw continues this pattern and places this round among the larger and more accessible healthcare focused selections of the year, particularly for candidates whose profiles are competitive around the CRS 462 range.
